TSG is a consulting firm specialising in providing quantitative decision support to the mining industry.  We currently employ over 45 consultants located in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia. 

TSG was established in 1999 and has become the most respected supplier of discrete event simulation modelling and operations analysis teams to Australian mining clients.  Our success has seen us rapidly gaining a reputation worldwide for delivering a quality process and for adding value to client operations.

TSG is not simply a developer of simulation models.  Instead we focus on working with our clients to develop solutions to problems using detailed simulation modelling as its basis.  Our dedicated project teams first build computer models of our clients operations and integrated supply chains before supplying the analytical and modelling experience to efficiently interrogate the model to provide the quantitative back up required ensuring that effective operational decisions are made.  This approach maximises the value to our clients by capitalising on our modelling experience, mitigating simulation personnel risks and utilising TSG’s computational resources. 

Client satisfaction is the key focus of our business and our success is demonstrated by the fact that over 90% of our projects are generated from repeat clients.  The benefit to some of our past clients has been in the order of millions of dollars, with clients reporting a 100:1 ROI when engaging simulation modelling early in the project lifecycle.
