Rodney Hoare

Rod was a founding member of TSG and, following his retirement, holds a position on TSG's advisory board. Rod pioneered the use of detailed simulation models in the mining, transport and logistics industries having first identified the potential of simulation techniques in the mid 80's.

During his time at TSG, Rod led the successful execution of simulation projects for many of the world's leading mining companies. In total, Rod has over 35 years of experience in business consulting, project management and construction, both within Australia and internationally. This practical and hands-on experience, combined with qualifications in business management, civil and systems engineering and operations research, adds significant value to the TSG team.
